Accessibility statement
Roll is built by the disability community, so this website has to work for everyone who uses it. Here is what we have done, what still falls short, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on every page of www.rollmobility.com. WCAG is the standard most accessibility laws point to.
This statement covers this website. If something in the Roll app gets in your way, please tell us the same way. We want to hear about that too.
What we do
- You can use every part of the site with a keyboard alone, and you can always see where you are on the page.
- Text and controls meet WCAG color contrast levels in light and dark mode.
- Ratings never rely on color alone. Every badge carries a word: Accessible, Limited or Not accessible.
- Every screenshot has alt text that describes what it shows.
- Pages work when you zoom to 400% or view them on a narrow phone, without sideways scrolling.
- Animations stop if you turn on reduced motion in your device settings.
- Dark mode follows your device setting, and the site remembers your choice if you change it.
- Videos from Instagram and TikTok only load when you choose to play them.
What still falls short
We know about these gaps and are working on them:
- Social videos. The Instagram and TikTok players come from those companies, and we can’t change how they work. Some videos may not have captions yet.
- Testing with people. We test with automated tools and by hand. We have not yet finished testing with screen reader users and other disabled people from our community.
If you find a barrier that is not on this list, please tell us.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this site is hard to use, or you need something in a different format, please contact us:
- Use our help form and choose “An accessibility problem.”
- Or email [email protected].
Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way. If you use assistive technology, such as a screen reader, it helps to know which one. We aim to reply within five working days.
How we test
We check every page with the axe-core scanner in light and dark mode, at desktop and phone widths. We also check each page by hand with a keyboard, at 400% zoom, and with wider text spacing. We review the site again whenever we add a page.
Technical details
This site uses HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It is built to work with current browsers and the assistive technology that runs on them. Roll Mobility Inc. assessed the site on October 30, 2026.
